Chapter PresidentKamilla GonzalezKamilla is excited to return as an officer this year as she had great experiences the past two years. Her love and passion for the FFA is what drives her to continue to serve the members. Kamilla raises market sheep for her SAE project and plans to continue doing so until she graduates. She has participated in various speaking competitions throughout her time in FFA and will continue to do so for her senior year. Kamilla enjoys spending her free time doing anything and everything FFA related, which is why her passion for this organization continues to grow. She is ready to serve the Newman FFA Chapter with her whole heart and encourage students to get more involved.
Chapter Vice PresidentArely ReynosoArely is excited to be serving this year as a chapter officer for her first time in a leadership position. She has grown a true passion for the FFA and agriculture and is excited to put Newman FFA out in the community more. She is hoping to build more relationships with not only the members but with local companies and businesses to gain more support for our members. She is raising her first market lamb this year and is excited to continue showing in the next year of high school.
Chapter SecretaryJessica AbricaJessica is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the Newman FFA Chapter and share her love for the program this upcoming year with the members. She shows and raises market sheep for her SAE project. Jessica has participated in leadership conferences the past two years which have allowed her to gain knowledge and skills to better serve the Newman FFA members. She has participated on the Vegetable Judging CDE team along with English and Spanish Creed over the past two years. Jessica aspires to continue developing her leadership skills as well as create memories and long lasting friendships while serving the chapter. She plans to give her all this year and contribute to the welcoming FFA community. Jessica is excited to unleash her potential this year and hope she can encourage the members to do the same!
Chapter TreasurerMadison DurbalaMadison is excited to be a returning officer as she had a memorable experience last year. She hopes to accomplish her goal of leaving an impact on other members and encouraged them to reach their fullest potential as it is her last year in high school. She has participated in events such as floral judging, job interview, State Conference as a voting delegate, as well as showing a market lamb the past two years. In her year of service this year, she hopes to get even more involved by pushing herself past her comfort zone and trying new teams, as well as making new memories and bonds with her officer team and the members!
Chapter SentinelRosario MendozaRosario is excited to be serving as your chapter sentinel and cannot wait to welcome each and every member with her friendly and outgoing personality. She is ready to take on the responsibility of serving the Newman FFA Chapter and with an open mind shes ready to help guide and lead her peers to reach their full potential. This past year was Rosario´s first year being involved in FFA and she has truly found her place of belonging and has grown a true passion for this organization. She has participated in the Creed Speaking contest as an LDE and participated in BIG to test her knowledge as a CDE. Without doubt she is ready to put her all into this chapter and cannot wait to see what opportunities await her and the chapter.
Chapter ReporterMiranda GarciaMiranda is honored to be serving her first year in a leadership position for the Newman FFA Chapter. She looks forward to getting her voice heard by the members, and building partnerships with local companies and businesses to build more support within the community. Miranda is a girl with a lot of dedication and her academic goal for the year is to pass sophomore year with straight A's. Her FFA goal for this year is to engage with the members and get them to try new things in the FFA both at the chapter level and above. Miranda is excited to serve as the Reporter and put her skills into action and showcase all the potential Newman FFA and it's members has to offer!
