| Chapter President | Jessica Abrica | Jessica is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the Newman FFA Chapter and share her love for the program this upcoming year with the members. She shows and raises market sheep for her SAE project. Jessica has participated in leadership conferences the past two years which have allowed her to gain knowledge and skills to better serve the Newman FFA members. She has participated on the Vegetable Judging CDE team along with English and Spanish Creed over the past two years. Jessica aspires to continue developing her leadership skills as well as create memories and long lasting friendships while serving the chapter. She plans to give her all this year and contribute to the welcoming FFA community. Jessica is excited to unleash her potential this year and hope she can encourage the members to do the same! |
| Chapter Vice President | Rosario Mendoza | Serving as Chapter Sentinel was an incredible experience for Rosario, and it fueled her desire to take on the role of Vice President. Welcoming each member with her friendly and outgoing personality, she discovered a true joy in making everyone feel like they belonged. This year, as Vice President, Rosario is excited to continue guiding and inspiring her peers, drawing from the lessons learned and the connections made. Rosario's commitment to the Newman FFA Chapter goes beyond just holding a title, it's about fostering growth and creating opportunities for everyone. Her participation in the Creed, Best Informed Greenhand, Parliamentary Procedure Team, Veterinary Science Team not only broadened her own skills but also allowed her to contribute to the chapter in diverse ways. These experiences have deepened her understanding of teamwork, leadership, and the importance of continuous learning. Looking ahead, Rosario is excited to continue to keep being on the Parliamentarian Procedure and Vet Team, and maybe even try El Credo. Rosario is eager to see what new challenges and triumphs await the chapter. She is dedicated to creating an environment where every member feels empowered to explore their passions and reach their full potential. With an open mind and a heart full of enthusiasm, Rosario is ready to embrace the journey so they can see the bright future ahead of them beyond the blue and make this year one of growth, inspiration, and unforgettable memories for the Newman FFA Chapter. |
| Chapter Secretary | Kyleigh Brace | Kyleigh is ready and excited to serve as the Newman FFA chapter Secretary. She has been waiting for this moment and won't take it for granted. She can't wait to meet new people and learn new skills to better the Newman FFA Chapter. She wants to make an impact on the Chapter and get to know each member in and outside of our chapter. Kyleigh wants to make a difference. She is ready to take on the challenges that come her way. She plans to continue vet science and get better in the competitions. She plans to do prepared and work on her speaking skills. Her SAE was raising pigs and she has been doing it for the past three years and it has taught her patience and leadership. Showing pigs and taught her that she loves helping people and getting to know them and she can't wait to see how her team does at showing this year. She wants to better understand FFA so she will be going to as many activities that come her way. She wants to give it her all and take nothing for granted. She aspires to continue her leadership skills and wants to make so many new memories with every FFA member. Kyleigh is excited to see how far she can go and to reach her full potential. |
| Chapter Treasurer | Kimberly Hurtado | Kimberly is honored to begin her year of service as Treasurer for the Newman FFA Chapter. She is eager to welcome both new and returning members, and looks forward to sharing her passion for the FFA organization with others. With her approachable and positive personality, Kimberly hopes to help guide her peers as they navigate their own unique FFA journeys.Now in her second year of involvement, Kimberly has found a true sense of belonging and purpose within FFA. She has participated in the Creed Speaking and Parliamentary Procedure for her Leadership Development Events (LDEs), as well as the Best Informed Greenhand and Veterinary Science for her Career Development Events (CDEs), each of which has deepened her knowledge and commitment to the organization. Kimberly is fully dedicated to serving her chapter and is excited for the many opportunities that lie ahead. She looks forward to making a meaningful impact and supporting her fellow members throughout the year. |
| Chapter Sentinel | Bryce Graham | Bryce is happy to serve as the chapter sentinel this year. He has a friendly and outgoing personality and looks forward to welcoming all members. This is his third year in FFA, and he has grown to really enjoy being part of the organization. Bryce has participated in impromptu and job interview contests as an LDE, participated in vegetable judging to strengthen his knowledge as a CDE, and he had raised a show hog for his SAE project. This next year Bryce will be participating in the job interview LDE again, along with raising a show hog again for his SAE. He is ready to take on the responsibility of this role and help guide his peers. Bryce wants to support the chapter and is excited to see what the year will bring. |
| Chapter Reporter | Melany Rios | Melany is eager to serve as the Chapter Reporter for Newman FFA and could not be more excited to be a positive influence on others, just as past officers have influenced her. In her free time, she babysits her nephews and maintains a part time job. Melany is also highly involved in FFA she is a member of both the Floral CDE Team and the Cotton CDE Team, and she hopes to improve her public speaking skills while serving in her reporter position. Thanks to the support of FFA, Melany began to believe in herself, and after three years of involvement in CDE teams and showing at the county fair, she saw herself as a leader within the chapter. She is committed to always bringing her best to the chapter, is full of energy, and is excited for everything this year has in store! |
